Sewer and septic repair
Broken sewer lines, root clogs and failing septic tanks or lines. We dig it up, fix it and put the yard back.
Below the line · -3 to -8 ftThe sewer line slopes from under the house to the city main or the septic tank. A crack, a sag or a root clog stops the flow and sends it back up.
The problem, in plain words
Everything you flush runs through a pipe under your yard, either to the city sewer or to your septic tank. When that pipe cracks, sags, pulls apart or fills with roots, wastewater has nowhere to go. It backs up into the house or soaks into the yard.
Septic systems have their own trouble: tanks crack, baffles fail, and drainfield lines get crushed or plugged. We repair and replace sewer lines and septic parts in Philomath, Corvallis, Albany, Lebanon, Monroe and the rural areas around them.
Signs you have it

- Several drains are slow at the same time
- A sewage smell inside or in the yard
- Soggy or extra green patches over the sewer line or drainfield
- Sewage coming up in a tub or floor drain
- Roots in the cleanout

What we do

Inspect and backfill
Where a permit calls for it, the work is inspected before we cover it. Then we backfill and put the surface back.
What drives the cost
We do not quote from a price list. Every job is different, so we look first, then give you the price in writing. These are the things that move it.
- How deep the line is and how long the bad section is
- Driveways, sidewalks, trees or buildings over the line
- City sewer or septic
- Permit and inspection requirements
- Whether the street or sidewalk has to be opened TODOconfirm street work

Is the sewer line mine or the city's?
In most towns the homeowner owns the line from the house to the city main or the property line. Rules differ by city, so we check yours. TODOconfirm the rule in each town
Is it my sewer line or just a clog?
One slow drain is usually a clog near that sink or tub. Several slow drains, gurgling toilets, or backups at the lowest drain point to the main line.
